Gin Paloma with Gunpowder Irish Gin Recipe

Paloma in Spanish means Dove and many believe this cocktail is named after the lovely 19th century Spanish folk song La Paloma. Normally tequila based, it is the most popular drink in Mexico.

There are many Paloma Cocktail variations and we created one with gin. We like the combination of fresh grapefruit juice along with grapefruit soda. There are many grapefruit soda brands so use your favorite. We believe Fevertree makes the best grapefruit soda so we call it the Fevertree Pink Grapefruit Soda Paloma.

For the gin we love what the gunpowder botanicals of Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin add to the grapefruit. It’s a perfect match. Read our full review of Gunpowder Irish.
