With the summer came the cherries and with the cherries came the pits. And that’s a good thing!
If you love cherries, here’s a cocktail that’s very simple to put together. You can use store-bought cherry syrup but my preference is to take advantage of cherry season with a no cook cherry syrup from Serious Eats.
- 1.5 oz Gin
- .5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- .5 oz Cherry Pit Syrup
- 4-5 dashes Angostura Bitters
Add gin, lemon juice, cherry pit syrup and bitters to ice filled cocktail shaker. Shake 10-15 seconds and strain into martini glass.
