I’ve always been a traveler, feeling the need to see the world first-hand. I couldn’t wait for the chance to study abroad so I could infuse myself with the cultures in France, Italy, Germany, Austria, England, and the Netherlands. So much to see, so much to taste, I wanted to try it all.
One night, Dutch friends took me to fun and rowdy bar in Amsterdam called Mr. Coco’s. Having no idea what I wanted to drink that night, I left the ordering to the locals. They ordered me a kopstootje or “headbutt”, icy, cold genever, chased by a beer. Tangy, silky, malty, spicy and little sweet… I had never tasted anything like it and it introduced me to all things juniper. Enter: GIN!
From that day forward, I’ve been exploring the wonders of Gin from all around the world, and here, GinBoss.com, is where I share my passion for Gin and Gin Cocktails.
I am an educator with a Bachelor’s Degree in French and a Master’s Degree in Arts and Humanities. My articles are written for people who are also curious about the world as well as Gin. My hope is to provide answers to others who love the taste of gin or want to learn how to use these incredible botanical masterpieces.
A good Gin has the power to take you places…even when you can’t physically be there So….come, be a voyager with me and explore the Gins of the world.
